I've wanted to get into speed-running OOT, I've been non-stop playing this game since 1998. I've gotten supersliding as child Link down near perfectly but it seems that I'll only make 2 out of 5 superslides as an adult. Even when it seems like I've done it perfectly, it'll just trigger a ground jump. I obviously know that I'm timing something wrong but does anyone have advice on superslide consistency?

is there really a difference between child and adult superslides? i always considered this as a myth.

Well try to shield drop a bomb then roll and then back flip.That will give you the right position for adult Link ;)

The superslide set-up isn't working out for me... I do the roll by just pressing A and then do the backflip all while holding Z and then i'm always too far from the bomb, i can't even get a ground jump from it :(

Have you tried the Nayru's Love superslide? Just get NL, hold Z/L and R then roll into a bomb, mash A, and don't do anything.
Also when you do the superslide roll and backflip set-up, don't hold back when you backflip.

Or you can just backflip and shield-drop a bomb in midair. It gives you perfect distance if your not on a hill.

If you're on flat ground:

1) Hold Z
2) Take out bomb
3) Wait until the bomb is directly over your head, then shield drop
4) While holding Z and R, press A to roll
5) Backflip
6) Time the roll!
