Title: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Hiei37 on September 23, 2009, 05:02:52 PM I'm sorry, but I can't find where to submit a run. I'm working on a Woodfall Temple 100% run and I would like to submit it when I'm done. Thanks in advance!

What would I do on the IRC? Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Cosmo on September 23, 2009, 09:49:03 PM on IRC you could give me or jiano the link to the .mp4 (or send it directly if you're using mIRC) and we can verify it and put it up.
Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Hiei37 on September 23, 2009, 10:49:02 PM Ok I'll do that once I get a decent run.
EDIT: Is there a point to submit a run without tons of glitches used? I'm not good at any yet, but I might try to use some in a run once I can do them. I'm just wondering if I should even go for a non-glitch run or just try to learn some glitches? Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Jiano on September 23, 2009, 11:24:43 PM Just learn them. They make playing a lot more fun and obviously they speed everything up.

You can do this but somebody could use glitches to easily beat your time. If you don't really care, then feel free to submit, but if you really want to gain some fast records you should learn them, it really not too hard and its sort of what the site is for (to teach people how to do them right). We won't reject a run for being slow, unless it is absurdly slow ;) Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Hiei37 on September 24, 2009, 01:07:32 AM Ok thanks guys I'm learning some glitches now by using this site's great guides and I'll try to use them in my runs.
Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Chimpas on September 28, 2009, 04:42:54 PM How are we suppossed to contact Cosmo?? IDK what's IRC, can I use the Hotmail to send it??
Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Cosmo on September 28, 2009, 07:14:23 PM you sure can, assuming hotmail lets you send the file (videos can be large)
or you could try megaupload. and PM me the url however...... I'm not a huge TP player so if you wanted to do TP runs, maybe we should set up somebody to be the official TP verifier? Right now mzxrules would fit that job pretty well if he's up to it? But yea if you already have a run, send it to myself or mzxrules Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Chimpas on September 29, 2009, 04:49:40 PM you sure can, assuming hotmail lets you send the file (videos can be large) Theres going to be atrouble actually: all temples of TP are really long, forest temple any% in SS is at least 20 minutes long, the shortes one is Lakebed temple in 12 minutes, let's not talk about Arbiter's Grounds, in a segmented takes 20 minutes, how much would take a SS? and the 100%? over half hour of course, my idea is Filefront, the you or MZXRulez download it.or you could try megaupload. and PM me the url however...... Post by: Jiano on September 29, 2009, 07:00:29 PM That is why TP shouldn't have ILs. Not only are most temples long but they're boring(see PoT and ToT). You can't really do the last few temples out of order either, so I just don't get it.

You can't really do the last few temples out of order either, so I just don't get it. Of course you can. You can beat Arbiture's Grounds, City in the Sky, and the Ice Mansion in any order you want, though CitS requires that you visit Arbiture's Grounds first. The first three temples have the most interesting routes out of all of them, because we can get EMS, and we can also get the B&C before tackling Lakebed and the Goron Mines. CitS and Arbiture's Grounds also both have their own major SB in them. Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Cosmo on October 01, 2009, 05:41:17 PM Yea I'm all for it, it's just I don't wanna be the verifier / encoder / updater for TP because I don't know the game as well, and wouldn't be able to determine if anything is sketchy. mzxrules, if you wanna be the one to set it up, I encourage it
you could copy the format from the other 2 IL pages and change what you need Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Chimpas on October 01, 2009, 11:30:09 PM I have a little doubt:
What about the water marks?? I use a DivX encoder and puts a little watermark at the corner during a few seconds, does it matter?? Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Cosmo on October 04, 2009, 03:07:28 AM Chimpas that doesn't matter
Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Greenalink on October 13, 2009, 03:25:33 PM Phantom Hourglass is pretty linear until the late part of the game.
After getting the last 2 sea charts you can do the last 3 dungeons in any order *Goron Temple *Temple of Ice *Mutoh's Temple The Ghost ship is the only dungeon to be temporary. It goes away after saving Tetra. Temple of the Ocean King is pretty good to IL run on. You start at the very top and reach to the very bottom without using the Yellow Warp panel from the start. The first 3 dungeons are linear so there isn't much competition. 100% runs are not notably different (other than the Ice Temple) when comparing the Pure speed runs. Title: Re: Submit Dungeon Runs? Post by: Slowking on October 30, 2009, 08:03:46 PM I have a little doubt: Divx only puts that logo there while playing the video and you cana ctually turn it off in the start-menu. ;)What about the water marks??
