Title: What version do you play on? (READ FIRST POST BEFORE VOTING) Post by: ING-X on June 20, 2010, 11:25:38 PM I'm just curious to know what version you guys mostly play on. I know people could just ask each other but I find having the results all in one place to be much more organized and efficient ;)
Important info and directions: -PLEASE POST IN THE TOPIC IF YOU VOTE TELLING WHAT VERSION YOU VOTED FOR. That way we know who voted for what. -There is only one GCN version because all GCN versions are identical aside from language select. -VC v1.0 WAD should be counted as NTSC VC. -Anyone who plays on emulator should vote for whichever ROM version you use. I can't ESS or Dot Skip very well with GCN controller, also N64 has quicker buttons all-around IMO. Title: Re: What version do you play on? Voted 1.0 since that's going to be my new main version.
Also it looks like someone has changed the any% route on the OOT page in the past few days, I was working my way through the game and finally got to adult link, and am at the point where I can start RBA, but I started playing Dead Rising again, and now I was planning on going back and finishing my RBA playthrough but the route page has changed :( Now I have no clue what I'm doing... I was at segment 7 after having to restart twice because of stupid mistakes (I really don't remember why I had to restart the first time, the second was because I had one deku stick before becoming adult Link) and the new route frightens and confuses me (also I'm tired of redoing the DoT skip, although I'm slowly getting it down), this one seems more reasonable for a newbie. Maybe I'll try the newer route eventually, for now I'll stick with the one you linked that I've been working on for a few days. Title: Re: What version do you play on? It's so much easier to do those tricks without a fucked up physics engine and plus being able to race on my main version is a nice touch ;)
