Anyways. We're deciding the best weekend for this marathon. Some things to consider are start/end points. Friday night would allow for screwups/not pass over Sunday night, but that in turn gets us into the night quicker. Like, after 3 games maybe we'd be midnight/1 am, etc. Not that that's bad, just something to consider.

Saturday is nicer because we could start 8-9AM or something, and allow most people around America see many of the games. Down side is that it ends in the night on Sunday.

Anyways, post below your thoughts on the weekend, and the time.

I don't see what the problem would be with having a marathon start in the night. We just wouldn't have the more popular games in that slot. I think that as long as each game gets the coverage it deserves, we shouldn't have to worry about start/stop times.

What would be a concern is the schedules of the runners who are playing the games that we stick in the beginning and end.

This was from the Mario Marathon that the Child's Play charity had. If we are able to start at 3 to 5 pm on the Friday, I think that would work out well.

The weekend of the 4th of July is probably not a good one. People in the USA are going to be busy.

Good point Runnerguy. Us Canadians don't do that, lol.

on the marathon page, we should have a picture of the running man from OoT saying something to the effect that he'll beat us by one second.

I believe all days are doable for me. But 9th-11th would probably work best.

Mzx that sounds like a great idea, but my photoshop skills are more than lacking. Someone hit up Cosmo to get something like that made :P

I did the 9th-11th and the 16th-18th, even though any of those weekends should be fine for me. Since I just found out today that I can leech off of some pretty strong Wi-Fi signals in my apartment building, I should have no problem if I can't afford my own internet before then.

I'm really looking forward to this marathon! As mentioned in the other topic, I wouldn't mind helping with the chat, as I'm not skilled enough to run and I wouldn't have a lot to say as a commentator.

July 9th-11th looks like the winner. Are we doing it then?

I've been setting up the channels on Ustream and such, and I'll give automod to a few people. Should I just give everyone on #zelda automod? erm, the ones that use Ustream, atleast.

In other news, The website needs bio's for the runners. Either post them here, or pm them to me, I don't care, just get them to me, and I'll put them on the website.

Blizz, I use Ustream. My Ustream username is BlueStar81089. I think the idea of everyone who uses Ustream on #zelda having automod should work. The more eyes we have on the chat, the better, in my opinion.

I'm definitely up for OoT commentary, I know RTA like the back of my hand. I told my work that I would be taking a day off for this and they said no problem.

Well no matter what I end up doing for the marathon, I know I will be watching it non-stop. I don't have a job at the moment, so I should have no problem being able to participate, as stated before.

Lemme commentate TP. I'll entertain the masses.
BTW I know a lot about TP incase you guys were wondering.
