OK so I wanna run a .cosmosis OoT race tournament. Basically I made a bot in the IRC channel and it gives you random goals for races.

the idea would be you get paired up with somebody and whenever you are both free, you do a race by using RBABot and typing .cosmosis for the goal. Whoever wins moves on and whoever loses either is out of the tournament or dropped into the other side of the bracket.

some rules and stuff: you need to provide proof of your finishing time. easiest way is streaming. Another way is record the entire thing. ANOTHER way is record with a webcam the final goal and you typing .done in the IRC. photographs may be good proof in some cases as well.

Don't forget the winner of the loser's bracket has to win twice against the winner of the winner's bracket to win. (might want to make a note of it)

This sounds great! You can count me in too! But there is one problem on me. That people with I'm racing is my time. When you guys are playing I have night in here and I cannot play on night when I have job next day. So I can come in to tournament but I hope that time thing can go well  :)

The bracket is up! You can race any time you are able to contact your opponent. The way you should contact people is by entering the IRC channel! Please use the IRC channel and use RBABot to race.

.startrace to start the racebot
.enter to enter after the racebot is started
.ready to ready up (race starts after everybody is ready)
.cosmosis to get the goal (should be done immediately after the countdown ends)
.quit to forfeit
.done when you finished the goal
.record to save race results
.end to terminate the race

DO NOT TYPE .done UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETELY FINISHED THE GOAL, THIS WILL SAVE YOUR TIME :)

also be ready to prove your time when the time comes if you are not streaming. you must upload proof in a fast manner.

i cannot support the idea of the loser GF player has to win two sets against the one out of WB, this isnt smash, would also take too long imo.

Blizz, how bout agreeing on using no RBA?

That's how the double elimination format works...

Everyone gets one "second chance".  The winner of the winner's bracket has yet to lose, while the winner of the loser's bracket has lost once.  It's only fair that the winner of the winner's bracket gets two chances.

HRC, why no RBA? I think it's a good tool :/

There are a couple (I think 2?) goals that actually require RBA

Many of the goals have (no RBA) as a stipulation as well.

I did a prediction at that thing SD2 made! Everybody else should too. It was fun

pro, some goals say it isn't allowed, some it's required. I say yes to using it. It could very well come in handy for me, but I'm not a big fan of it myself either.

My computer wouldn't turn on since yesterday and still won't, so I have no idea how long it will take to fix (we're broke). I think the power supply is messed up.

I might not be able to participate in this tourney or make new Any% segments for a week (hopefully less). The PC I'm using now is my sisters at her house.
