This tool automatically calculates the destination of every possible exits. How it works: -I force the game to teleport me to a specific exit (ex 0x0000) instead of Hyrule Field. -The Beta Quest Mod converts the forced exit (ex:0x0000) to a random one (ex: 0x003B). This means 0x0000 (Entering Deku Tree From Kokiri Forest) teleports to 0x003B (Shooting Gallery). -I repeat for all entrances (0x0001, 0x0002....0x613). -Many exits teleport to 0x00CD which is the title screen, most likely to prevent the game from crashing. Flaws: -Can only test about 5 exits per seconds (5 minutes to test all). -It quits cutscenes before knowing where they teleport. (I still retrieve that they teleport into a cutscene though.) Note: I will not release this tool. I will also not use it myself when racing other people. I don't even speedrun anyway. I made this tool for fun. |
