Title: Help install OoT Wii VC Post by: Dynom on March 11, 2014, 07:21:03 PM Hi,
I have a PAL Wii, which is softmodded with HBC and other apps. It is working fine but the only problem is that I can't run OoT vc wad. Everytime I start the channel/wad it displays some random text and when I click A it return to the home screen. I have tried multiple things including region changing to japanse and making sure my Wii is region free using priiloader. I'd first try priiloader, but I believe from when I tried that, it doesn't really handle the 60Hz very well and gets stuttering audio.thx After that, I guess any region changer will do the trick. Title: Re: Help install OoT Wii VC Post by: Letsremax on March 18, 2014, 09:44:32 PM The Audio Stuttering comes from the fact that you are running a NTSC version of the Game on a still Region-locked System Menu.
If you for example load the Channel / WAD over a Loader (USB Loader GX, etc), you can test it out by forcing the channel to Force Run in NTSC! It will run at the expected speed. To solve this you would have to change the whole System Region to US...and since you have Priiloader with region Lock Patch, it wont matter regarding your already owned Games! |
