Title: Can't swordless dot skip
Post by: Valientlink on October 12, 2013, 09:01:31 PM
Title.

I watched several videos about it, followed every instruction down to every input, but it won't work. The one time I got close, I buffered past the frame I needed, and now after I press Z and hold left when the camera goes in that sort of aerial view, link just doesn't appear.

There's a Q&A thread to ask questions about tricks, get explanations, etc.  ;)

Regarding your question, do you know how to DoT skip and are just having trouble figuring out how to do it buffered?

This is probably very old so it may not help anymore, but if your doing the steps:

1. Clip through door, pause on frame link is half-way through
2. Next you want to let go of everything and pause buffer 1 frame (the next frame is looking down at the floor)
3. the next part is important now you want to buffer in Z. So what I do is un pause then hold Z and pause again. If done correctly you will see link.

3a. If you see black when do you this, it means your angle was wrong clipping through the door. For me the be method is the pillar setup.

4.Saying you see link now, you buffer til you see the top of links head and then you hold Left (remember at this point your still holding Z)

5. And finally you'll clip through. (note: if you miss the frame atop links head you have 1 frame or 2 to still make it without failing)

With enough practice you can do this :P      [http://www.twitch.tv/mrbubbleskp/c/3270460]
