I've had this idea for a task for a while and have ideas for more tasks so let's watch another competition fail after just a few or no tasks!!!

Task 1
Enter Zora's Domain from Zora's River, enter Zora's Fountain, Kill both Gold Skulltulas(You do not need to collect the tokens), and finally enter Jabu Jabu's Belly.
Timing starts at the frame you get control over link and ends the first frame "Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly" is visible. Nayru's Love is banned. You must King Zora skip.

I think there is some confusion. You do not need to collect the tokens of the Gold Skulltulas. You just have to kill them.

In.  When's the due date?

Edit: Is anyone else having trouble with the provided savestate, or is it just me?
Edit 2: Your savestate is for the U version, but can I still use J?  that's why I was having trouble.

The due date will be like August 5th.

ok.  I'll use U.  Has the savestate you provided already been to zora's domain and fountain?  If not, are we allowed to before we record so that we don't have to go through the cutscene for the 2 areas in the middle of the TAS?  or is it required to watch that cutscene?

August 5th?  I'll need a few extra days.  I'll be gone from the 31st through the 6th and have no access to my computer.  I'll also need the extra time because I'm slow at TASing :/

Is it possible to reach the 0.0.0 position there?

I'll either have to drop out or need a fairly large extension.  I had a lot of trouble in my TAS, and I'll be gone for a week, so I'll probably need a week-ish extra to finish.

Edit:  I'm not seeing much interest in this competition.  I don't want to waste my time finishing this if no one else is joining.  Please tell me this isn't just a huge waste of my time.

Edit again:  If I don't see someone post that people will actually do this competition, I'm not finishing my entry.

It looks like no one here really did anything, so if you are going to restart this competition I will be in for this challenge.

@implicit: Of course no one participated.  I unfortunately didn't realize until I was almost done with it, but this was just pokey being his usual troll self.  There won't be a TAS competition.  I might start one up if I actually get some support.

I hope someone does, I'm planning to get into TASing but there are no challenges for me to practice in, and I know very few TAS-only tricks and I'm not skilled enough to get a decent time on a full game run. I'll support you if you start one.

I'd support too. The one I did with Grunz was really fun, even though I got last place, so O'd love to do another one :P

I'd love to do one, but I've been kinda busy recently with school just starting up.  I could probably handle doing it, but I need ideas for a task.

How about... Starting at the entrance to BotW, get to B3fl and kill all the ReDeads?

@Czar_Yoshi, I already started a task on this thread: http://forums.zeldaspeedruns.com/index.php?topic=1170.0  That's an interesting idea, though.  I never would've thought of that.

I'll keep that in mind for next time someone needs a task, then. I'm interested myself to see what people would do to them, would it be faster to OHKO all of them with Deku Sticks, or would you try something like ESSing into them with ISG active? That would be hard because you'd have to avoid targeting them, but it would be cool to watch.

I've got a few other ideas, too.
