Use a windows xp vm, make sure the ique's drivers install, and then it should work

Even on WinXP this doesnt work every time for me. Keep rebooting / replugging in the USB and make sure the USB is actually active in the WinXP VM.

Or you can try using Device Manager to fix the problem, if you're tech-savvy. Try unplugging and plugging in the iQue with Device Manager open, and see if it registers as "Unknown Device" or something similar. This does sound like a driver issue though.

I don't know if the iQue is just a Plug&Play device or if there are actual drivers you need to install. Maybe using Device Manager to roll them back would work.

I tried it with windows 8 and windows 7.
I used virtualizer for a windows xp mode but on both computers there was no device found.
my windows 8 computer installs a driver but when I open the device manager it says no driver found for this device.
the same on windows 7...
when I open the device manager in windows xp there is no device in the list.

the problem is that the computer does not install any driver.

windows xp mode is not going to help you, you need to run a virtual machine. Drivers should install automatically when it's connected.

it says unknown driver in windows 8 and windows 7 and I can't download any drivers.
when I open virtual machine for XP the ique player does not even show up in the devicec manager only in 7/8 for some reason

Question is: what did you do?

If you did anything specific, it'd be nice to know in case some others have a similar issue :)

Good job, nonetheless 8)

when I tried it with the VM cosmo posted it did not work for some reason.
I searched for a different programm called "VMware player".
I still had a really old XP installation CD at home with product key. All I did was installing Windows XP over an hour on my computer with that other VM.
aaand for some reason  this version worked. he found the Ique player and installed the driver.
