Woodfall BK skip, STT BK skip, no razor sword, no giants mask, and the same amount of bomb shop trips.

You removed Scarecrow's Song skip?

Also don't sacrifice too much quality for hard tricks. I'd rather see a run that takes a 20 second detour for Scarecrow's Song than one that skips it but has about 15 more seconds of mistakes.

my suggestions:
-get 1r at start and 1r in the pot after scarecrow, you have to wait anyway
-zora superslide to octo instead of swimming

Other than that it's real solid.

Maybe if you have a chu to spare, you can quickslide after hovering over GB's fence, but obviously a chu is better spent replacing a bomb in a hover so that's not likely

Okay I've looked at this more closely and heres what I think:

-Replace one of the early suberslides with a quickslide since you have 2 chus to spare when you buy. They're faster and easier than normal superslides. An equally good alternative for this chu is for hovering over the Great Bay fence instead of using a bomb. Leave one in case you do wrong warp suboptimally.

-Pushing the zora while on the left of him (looks like you're pushing his leg) gives you a much better chance of moving around after he reaches shore (for the cs skip). I haven't messed it up in awhile.

-If you have 3 chus after Ikana WW, use it to quickslide. This leaves you with your 2 needed chus left. They're for deku palace, so if you mess up with one of those, you'd have to restart your attempt anyway.

-Don't get 2 sticks before Woodfall. You only need one for the lizalfos, and it can't help with Odwala. After that, you dupe it, so there's really no point.

-You have 2 completely safe bombs to spare once you're in PF, since you go from 17→20 later (as in this won't affect your total just in case). Definately use one to blow up the barrels before hookshot, like in your old run. And (only) if you're consistent with ISG+SS, use it on the long bridge on the way to hookshot to KO the guard. Otherwise disregard it.

-You can save some chus by using a bomb and Zora recoiling once you get over the FF wall to wrong warp to Snowhead. The extra chus definately make up for the lost second for doing so in the dungeon.

-Withdrawing 49R is faster than 46.

Anything else I'd have to check in-game.

Yeah Keeta, I've addressed most of those issues. I always waste explosives, it's inevitable, so I have to improvise with what I have at the time.

I did 2 runs today, a 2:03 and a 2:02. It's going to be tough but I'm going to get it.

I obviously have to move the ISoT a bit later, that kinda screwed me out of a lot of time. If you could look over that run and see if I make any route errors then lemme know.

I watched.

First, when getting SoS, put on zora mask instead of taking off deku. this way you can make the jump without lining it up. You had zora mask on c at the time, anyway.

Secondly, to solve the rupee problem (and even make duping easier), dupe once, sell your potion, get 2 fish, collection delay the other 2 bottles, then sell both fish. Thats 120r, guarenteed. Get the 20r chest in PF and you're good.

Lastly, don't bother with the sodt stuff. That combined with the clock tower scene wastes too much time. Instead, hover in. If you're too low on explosives after STT, get the bombs next to the Ikana owl before warping to clock town.

This should help.

The point of SoDT and ISoT would be so the tower opens before you get to CT so you wouldn't see the cutscene anyway.  He just used it too early in this run.

Also, going to catch fish from the shop is going to cost way too much time. My rupee route normally works, I'm not sure what I forgot to do.

I saw the rupee problem at the end, but did you withdraw the 50 rupees you still had left in the bank?  I wasn't watching the bomb runs (skipped through them), so I may have missed it, but it's worth asking, I suppose.

Alright Grunz finally got around to showing me how to get flying zora to the fountain easily, so I can add it to the route. The problem is I have nothing to use the chus on. It'll cost me 10-15 seconds to do flying zora so I'd have to save more time than that using my extra chus. Any ideas would be pro.

To Great bay (superslide to staircase)- 3 bombs (17B 20C)
HESS to water (16B 20C)
SS to cape (15B 20C)
Cape owl (20B 20C)
To FF (19B 20C)
To Ikana (13B 14C)
SS to owl (12B 14C)
bombs (17B 14C)
To deku palace (16B 14C)
To Sonata (15B 12C)
BK skip takes about 25 explosives including clip, but theres also the first gap to cross which takes 4.

you can save 2 explosives in deku palace by using the first deku flower to get to the last, then to sonata
and get rid of the ss to the owl

probably not worth it

Yeah, I believe I'm doing the old school FFWW. It's way easier and much faster. I tried everything I could think of to cut out a bomb shop trip but it doesn't even come close.

Oh yeah, and my rupee problem. Apparently I'm not supposed to buy bombs after Snowhead, which is what I've been doing. I r not 2 smrt.

Bumpin dis because I need help from my MM bros.

I have 2 ideas that could save 30-50 seconds.

The first idea is to skip getting the silver rupee in the ECT chest and skip getting the adult wallet. This complicates the rupee route greatly but I think it would be doable.

The other idea is to skip the bomb shop trip before Woodfall Temple, but this would require some crazy bomb usage, meaning I'd probably need to megaflip a lot and save some explosives in places.

I think the first idea is more plausible, I'm just not exactly sure how to go about it. That's where I need my bros to help out.

That's somewhat correct. If you megaflip-drop bombchu-megaflip-drop bombchu-backflip, that's the amount that you'll end up with. If your angle and megaflips are just right, you can shave off that last bombchu by landing straight on the unloaded fountain, which gives you 15B and 15C.

I'm about to test Woodfall BK skip with megaflips, so I should be able to help more in a while. I forgot how to pause-buffer megaflips on console, and I can't TAS my way out of a paper bag, so it looks like I'm going to have to sit this one out. how come the current route (in the first post) doesn't hit the great bay owl? wouldn't it be faster to hit it so you can soar back to it later instead of backtracking from the zora cape owl before pinnacle rock?

Just finished watching the 1:53 run. Incredible job Jiano! I was nervous as hell watching you do the Stone Tower accent. Glad you pulverized Majora's Mask this time.

Just curious, why was the ISoT removed from the route? I'd think the time spent with the cutscene (from not playing SoDT in GBT) plus the time needed to equip the ocarina in fairy fountain would make up for the time spent playing ISoT, or at least make it about the same (in which case ISoT would probably be a bit easier)
