Title: Pause buffer lag in project 64 1.7
Post by: Chain on June 05, 2012, 12:11:46 PM
Hi, I just downloaded project 64 1.7 because I heard it fixes the problem of terrible pause buffer lag and indeed it is better than 1.6 but it's still no where near as good as VC pause buffering. I think I heard somewhere that you have to mess around with the settings of the emulator to reduce the pause buffer lag, I was just wondering if this was true and if so could someone tell me what I need to do to reduce it.
Thanks :)

The best way to reduce pause buffer lag is by playing in fullscreen. Double or Triple Buffer your fullscreen sync under your graphics plugin settings. No matter what, chances are you'll still encounter some hefty lag or skips when pause buffering.
