Title: Re: Metroid: Other M Intro Leaked Post by: petrie911 on March 03, 2010, 10:16:02 AM From what I've seen, I'd guess that this game ends up being a lot like Fusion, what with Adam being your CO (apparently), the greater emphasis on story, Samus giving soliloquies, and probably a lesser focus on large-scale exploration.
Make of this what you will. I personally liked Fusion, so this isn't too horrible of a prospect for me, but obviously I cannot speak for all. I really didn't like Fusion at all, but the new gameplay style continues to interest me. The story on the other hand, I honestly couldn't care less about. Well... I care enough to wish that it was gone from the game completely, but since that's just silly, I'll settle with them being skippable.

I unfortunately feel the same way about this game. I hate when game developers put in that "Japanese only" feel to a game. I also dislike how there won't be as much exploration like in Prime and Super Metorid, the two best in the entire series and gaming. I don't mind a nice story, but we need a balance of that and exploration.
