started to love watching hockey during this olympics and I definately got a Canada fan :P

canada will destroy the USA

Yes, but Canada set a record for most golds at a Winter Olympic Games, which, when you add the increased pressure caused because of home soil, is pretty impressive.

But good job to the US team, they surprised everyone.

Home nations always inject extra funds into their athletes, so they'll always get more golds, silvers and bronzes. After that funding gets significantly cut by the next olympics. Japan got 5 golds in 98, but in 2002 they only got 1.
