I was looking on the ZSR leaderboards and I noticed that there are few emulator speedruns that are verified.  What is the reason for this?  Is there a way everyone can achieve a verified emulator speedrun?

The reason for this is that initially we allowed verified emulator runs. This changed a few months back because of the differences between emulated and console runs, and to get people to move to console if they want to compete for wr.
