I updated the route for cycle 2 in the first post. Main changes are fixed rupee route and moving around the c buttons to suit how i play on VC, because I'm going to do the run on VC.

So yeah.. this run will be beast

Good luck! Can't wait to see how it turns out. Sadly single-segment 100%'s are a rarity in the N64 Zelda games due to the length.

The route is actually complete, I'm just really lazy typing it.

Expect a run soon after 4 weeks from now, I just need school to finish before I record this.

Really glad that this is getting support btw

I can't wait for this run. As soon as I'm decent at MM I'd like to start working toward a 100% run as well. You've inspired me kaztalek.

Watching through the run. I think it's very good. Some questions: I see you haven't given title deeds to the scrubs with their nearby heartpieces. So going through all title deeds aren't required? And you dupe a bottle over a deku nut, so you have 7 bottles at the end of the run? That seems strange to me, is that legit?
Also, you don't use up the razor sword, that is most impressive. Have you carefully counted used sword strikes, or were you relying much on luck?

1) 100% consists of everything that doesn't disappear with song of time. Title deeds are trade quest items, they aren't needed as they never get saved. So as long as I get the respective heart pieces I can skip title deeds.
2) I end with 6 bottles at the end of the run, as it is necessary to have a deku nut slot at the end for it to be true 100%. I just pick up a deku nut at the very end to solve this.
3) You get 100 slashes with razor sword, and they only count when they hit something. Spin attacks also don't decrease the amount. So I have plenty of hits to use before it breaks, more than I need.

The run you're watching is a bit obsolete, I'm planning on demolishing it today and uploading in high quality, if you want to watch that instead :).

Where is your new run? And is that too single-segment, personally I say segmented would suit a speedrun of this format. Anyway it's a good route, and of the matter of explosives, and such, the route may need to be flexible. Because you will have some inaccuracies to cope with over time, i would think.

I have watched the whole run, it was throughly good. Some  comments: You fail to get town archery HP at first try which seems to cause that, you overwrite 33 rupees when collecting the knife chamber chest. And why don't you LA the sun block on the way into Ikane Castle to get elegy? Also you don't win at first try at the dog race.
It was an enjoyable run, hope to see it on the MM page here and at SDA.
Congratulations with WR Smiley
