I think this was mentioned on the forums somewhere, but I can't find it, so, new thread!
The four game race is basically a race to see who can complete a somewhat short goal in each of the 3D Zelda games the fastest. The goals are:
OoT - child dungeons
MM - woodfall, snowhead
TWW - farore's pearl
TP - Goron Mines
A couple of us were thinking of doing this for RBAbot's 200th race, so I was thinking of maybe doing it this Friday or Saturday.
Suggest times for the race to start (the best will probably finish in 7 hours with the current goals, Jiano did the last one in I think 6:30), so remember that when we try to plan it. Also suggest goal changes if you want, but I think what we have is pretty solid.

would you have to do all 4 games in order to finish? or is this just picking whichever game(s) you know and doing the goal on those?

Complete the goal in all 4 games. Child dungeons should NOT take you 7 hours.

can i come back to this race after doing something else ( i mean can i play for a couple hours, do irl stuff for a few hours, then come back and play some more) like jiano, sig and some others did in the puzzle race?

ill be on irc most of the time, but ive got family down that weekend so i might have to take breaks.
race sounds fun, hopefully i can get my copy of ww back from my friend or ill have to .quit after 3 goals.

The only problem with running TP through to the Goron Mines that I foresee is that the Wii version will be at a significant disadvantage, since you can't LJA with the Boomerang. I'd say the GCN has at least 5 minutes over the Wii version because of it

are you allowed to do 2 of the games at once, such as starting oot on 64, and mm on vc at the same time so when your done with oot the intro to mm is already done?

This was an issue when Jiano, Cosmo and I were doing this race. Cosmo was not happy about having to do all the bullshit in forest lol |
