No, you're a nub for thinking you can use bombs in ToT without BA <_<

I knew you couldn't use bombs without BA but there could be a way to make C-button items usable in the ToT, you never know.

here's a semi-discovery.

the Gerudo RBA chest contains the spooky mask in the Wii VC version. more confirmation that the Wii VC version is v1.2 with the crescent moon symbol replaced with the symbol found in the GC version.

Freeze the game in fishing hole

Found another glitch today using the "use item during trigger" glitch.

Get stuck, freeze the game in fishing hole:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaExgsyi15c

I'm sure there are TONS more places to experiment using items during triggers...

That's always there, and no, it's not a real dungeon. You can see it on emulators too. In areas that don't have a dungeon (like Hyrule Field), they just wanted to get it out of the way. On a normal playing TV on a console, you'd never see it. With the capture devices, emulators, and wide screens, you can.

more item experimentation

- saving with empty B (steal rod method) will become stick B as child link
- you can rebuy sticks and nuts and they will overwrite bottles in those slots. so you can never fuck yourself out of sticks and nuts.
- the same is not true of bombchus apparently from maxx's impromptu run. which is kinda weird.

- i activated the false deku stick count by duping a bottle over the deku stick slot then buying one.

I can confirm all of this from my impromptu, haha.  I bought a Deku Stick so I could OI, and it replaced the bottle I had duped in that slot.  It said 0 on the Item screen but 1 on the C button, iirc.  Buying chus did not fix the chu slot.

so Jiano came to my hotel room at pound4 and we were playing some OoT and we were messing around. and he accidently got hit during his megaflip off a bomb and died, but was still flying thru the air at 27 speed while dead. i thought maybe it could be a new dive technique (fairy rez) but after you touch water link just floats there dead. no known uses yet.

Nothing special, next area loads and you die when touching the ground.

I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes.

RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.

Well if you have to go up to the lookout and want to get back into the middle area of the fortress without having to go back in the door you came out of/start over from the ground.... you can use this instead. And it uses no items, which is helpful for any run.

I found an improved setup for the No-ISG Bridge Skip just now. It uses more precise alignments. It has a much greater chance of getting you across without falling on the other side. Also if you don't see the red dot after the turn-around you can just simply redo the turn-around until you see the red dot. It turns out that the turn-around is actually the most variable step in the whole trick, re-trying the turn-around will get you the red dot eventually, but if you do the setup correctly you almost always get the red dot.

Here's a video I made of me doing the No-ISG Bridge Skip with my new setup. I get across 3 times in a row:

http://www.mediafire.com/?jygznzm04gw

And the Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVIWZ3e6D44

The setup:

Do the setup as normal up until the first angle alignment. For the first angle alignment you want the right-most corner point on the hookshot to line up with the right side of the black vertical wall line in the picture below. Notice that Link's breathing makes the hookshot sway left and right. The hookshot's corner point needs to line up with the right side of the black line when the hookshot is at it's peak of swaying to the right. Also remember to not move the hookshot up or down at all during this alignment, only move it left and right.

Now sidehop to the right. For the second angle alignment you need to align the B button's right-most edge with the right-most edge of the wooden pillar where it meets the hill in the background (see picture below).

Now do the turn-around trick and hook the post as low as possible while still seeing the red dot. If you do not see the red dot, rotate the hookshot back around and try the turn-around again until you get the red dot to appear. REMEMBER, do not put the hookshot in your pocket for the turn-around trick, it will make you move too far and may make you fall off the post.

That's it. This setup gives you a much better chance of not falling when you hook the post. I was able to get across without falling multiple times in a row.

I don't think adult superslides without NL work on the PAL version of OOT. I've tried it probably over 200 times and haven't gotten it once even though on ntsc my success rate with them is near 100%...

Ok it seems they're a bit different than I thought.

Important: The closer you are to the bomb the more frames you get. Also this is in Mupen so 60 FPS. I put the 20 FPS in parenthesis.

You need to Roll 33 or 36(11 or 12) frames before the explosion. This is the frame before the 7th flash and the 7th flash.

If you roll 33 frames before the explosion, you need to grab 15(5) frames later. If you grab earlier, you'll get a ground jump. Too late and you won't grab it.

If you roll 36 frames before the explosion, you can grab 12 or 15 frames later(4 or 5). The same deal as above if you roll early/late.

Now you can be a bit further out and then you can only roll 36 frames before the explosion and you can only grab 15 frames later. It doesn't seem possible to get a ground jump if you're at max distance(Assuming you rolled on the correct frame).

This makes me sad because I mash for the grab, which is apparently a bad thing to do, I thought it was always impossible to grab too early if you rolled correctly.

I've done hundreds of no NL adult superslides and I'm playing on PAL version. But I've always found it difficult. I don't know if there is a difference with NTSC...

ok well it seems they do work... the timing is just 2-3 frames different from on ntsc. apparently the shield's hitbox is different on pal version.

it also seems that megaflipping off enemies doesn't work the same as on ntsc... if it does work then the timing is definitely different because i've pause buffered them on pal and have never gotten it once. neither has klyde.

All roll stuff and glitches what uses rolls in them is hard on PAL version. Idk why but roll seems little bit different from NTSC version and I have PAL version because of that. Some peoples say timing is easier on PAL but they are wrong. Almost every trick in PAL version is harder than on NTSC version. I know that too because I did SS run on PAL version and it was pain in ass! I higly recommend NTSC version for everyone or cube version of oot :)

dupe bottle over nuts and stick # is false somehow, its like the RBA thing except it was just a bottle dupe

also as we all know flagging the wrong bits in inv can cause flashing blackness, well tonight I got it to stay black and not flash, it was literally a big black polygon stretching across my inv, the cursor and items went behind it. it was empty bottle in deku nut slot. but I had the empty bottle there for awhile and it didnt happen. Actually it might have been blue fire in deku nut slot. i think this is related to the # thing and having the # not appear after you dupe it (I think this causes stick # to hit 0. they all seem connected)

Hey, im new here, im a freind of Cerpin_Taxt, i found a way to enter adult spirit temple as a child in MQ:

1.-Looking at the wall, get near the geyser.
2.-Side jump and then immediatly jump attack.
You should be at the top of the geyser, there you can do:

·Jump to the void, and do a looooooooong fall (that happened to me first XD)
·Turn back, and you should see the entrance hall, jump, and somehow, you will respawn as if you fell in an abyss.
·jump to the other side of the hallway and there, you are in adult spirit temple as a child.

I dont know if this was already discovered, btw.
