Sorry to kind of bother with this,  but does anyone know if the new 3ds will affect the game's loading times? I know some people already have the new 3ds or are getting one, so when you have your hands on one, can someone please test this cause I'm very curious to see the results

Hey, so I bought a New 3DS yesterday and tested the load times.

From what I can tell, there is no difference at all. Entering rooms, warping, etc., seems to be exactly the same as when played on a reg 3DS. If there is any difference then it would be extremely minor.

I should point out though that I'm playing the digital version of the game. I don't know whether or not that would make a difference, but i'll be testing my friends physical copy soon for the sake of completeness. Then i'll put each 3ds side-by-side to check if there truly is a difference.

I officially tested this with the physical version and sadly, ALBW does not benefit from the improved processor of the New 3DS. Load times are the exact same as older 3DS models and the game start-up time is even the exact same.

I'm a little surprised there is no change. I noticed a slight difference when playing MM3D, and that game has a smaller file size than ALBW. Then again, ALBW required little processing power in the first place so I guess it's not too shocking.
