Lately I've been working on a randomiser for Majora's Mask to switch around items and masks you get from chests, NPCs, etc. (see this) and I'm considering doing something similar for Ocarina of Time once I'm done with it. However, I need some input if I do go ahead and do it.

  • What version should it be based on? 1.0 or 1.2?
  • Any items excluded from randomisation? I had a request for explosives to be a fixed item in MM.
  • Are there any items that could become unreachable if placed in a certain location?

As with the MM randomiser, I'd have the item list generated based on your filename so that if it were used for races, everybody could get the same items.
