I did a 4:40 Single Segment run of OoT back in April 2006, I'm surprised that's not been documented.

In addition to the run that is listed? If not, the run listed for you is probably that one (with possibly the wrong date), since all runs were changed to ZSR timing.

I think back then it was still timed from first input? If so, then an added 3 min makes sense.

EDIT: Yeah 99% sure they are one and the same, since the video for the run already on the doc was the one I was trying to find here:

It certainly is possible with Great Bay and Snowhead early. I don't know much about mm glitchless particularly, but for all intents and purposes you should consider the two as separate games, with their own rules. Long jump for example is allowed because devs changed physics so your speed off a ledge determines how far you jump, and getting hit by a bomb is a normal, glitchless way to get very high speed for a moment. We aren't introducing any new mechanics into the game, so its considered fair game. Same goes for goron damage boosts, and stuff like Snowhead early, where the devs may not have considered it, but with existing geometry we can do them without introducing new mechanics. Gainer is similar, since devs gave us the ability to grab ledges out of a backflip, and targeting makes you stick to a wall. We aren't introducing new mechanics, and it is a mechanic entirely possible in normal gameplay, since "precise inputs and movements" are allowed in glitchless. Oh, and you can long jump to the red turn key from certain spots on the red pipe with human link, its just precise.

P.S. Yeah, I agree the route on the homepage is poorly written  :-\

To whoever wrote the original glitchless route for MM3D:

I played through the glitchless route and finished it today. I have several questions:
Why is long jump and gainer, techniques that are banned in MM64 glitchless, allowed in here?
"Roll on right side of the room until you can see the barred window
Zora fins on hive."
How is this possible without watching the cutscene?
Is it possible to collect one zora egg, complete Woodfall, complete Snowhead, get Powder Keg, do Goron Race, and make it in time to get Epona before the end of the day?

It might be because I'm not super good at speedrunning the game yet and therefore I'm not getting through the 3rd cycle fast enough, but this category has many questionable aspects. It's clear Glitchless MM3D has been neglected because 1) no one has submitted/recorded a run, 2) the text for the route has several flaws (great fairies mask? 3 cycle possible? "Long Jump to Red Turn Key?"), and 3) this category's rules contradict the rules in MM64 Glitchless. If I can, I'll record a run, post it on YouTube, and show how flawed it is.

Hello, it is a pleasure to participate in the forum, I am a Zelda player, and a fan of the Forum, I come to present my Legend of Zelda Artwork if possible. I made the total drawing time for two hours, but I summarized it in a speed Video to show the development of the work. I tried to detail the drawing as much as possible. I hope you like it :)

I call this Fan art from a hyrule mysteries

Does anyone have the pastebin for an up to date no wrong warps route with ehs and flower sliding and whatnot? I feel like this should be in the leaderboards too, since it seems pretty common. Also, after seeing iwabi's video on the Great Bay BK skip, I tried to replicate something similar in getting to light arrows early in STT. My line of thinking was that the EHS will pull link to an object at any distance as long as you hit it, and all rooms and objects are loaded when you enter a dungeon, so we should technically be able to hit the chest surrounded by flames just outside the Garo fight, skipping the first half of Ikana, with just the right angle and hight adjustment. Is this thinking correct, since I tried hitting the chest to the room on the right of the entrance, with the water and sun block, and I wasn't able to hit it. Do object's not stay loaded in the map?

Can we have a more specific explanation for Extended Hookshot? Since it's so important in the run, not understanding the trick perfectly results in potentially losing a ton of explosives. Particularly with the shielding two bombs method, what's the timing for it? It just says on the page "let go of shield as the first bomb explodes and then the view button a tad bit later," but what's the actual frame you should let go of view and shield on? I'd rather be able to buffer a few times to get the right timing than panic if I miss it without pause buffering and lose two bombs and possibly some health. Sorry if there's a youtube video with the bomb frames on it that I missed, I just can't find one.  :P
I don't think it is necessary to pause buffer the part of letting go the shield and tap the view button, the frame window is pretty big. Just release the shield after the first bomb explodes and press the view button one after the other. For me the difficult part of it is to drop the bombs at the right time, I always seem to be to late in dropping the second bomb. However if you prefer buffering, you can try it despite of being slower.
P.S. I was practicing the new any% route, and how am I supposed to dupe the red potion over nuts in the Curiosity shop or trading post? How do i get it into my hands without drinking it? Trying to give it to the curiosity shop guy just puts it away afterwards.
To do the curiosity shop dupe you have to sell the red potion and then press the item menu at the exact frame (there are videos to see which frame it is) and then exchange the bottle for the item you want. You can also use collection delay explained in the original mm page in zeldaspeedruns. If you fail the bottle dupe you can get a fish in trading post which you can sell to try again.

Hope it helps.

Is an NSR Hundo Category routed for this game yet with the new BiT strat? If not, I want to get on routing that, cause the way that BiT works in this game would make that a super interesting route, maybe more interesting than OoT NSR.
