Title: 3D or no 3D?
Post by: SnowMan on August 10, 2011, 03:33:50 AM
Which do you play and why? I'm just curious.

I play with the 3D on, took a few hours to get used to but my eyes have no problem with it. Played for 8 hours in one day.

i tried both and i keep going back to 3D despite more jaggies.

i guess the only thing that would make me play in 2D is a TV output.

i once played 15 hours straight.

I do not play with 3D.
The main reason for that is because I play the game ALOT, and I do not like changing back and forth.
I do not think it is good for the eyes if you play like 14 hours a day, every day.

However, when I do end up playing with 3D, I always play with lowest 3D. It does not give much depth, but it does make a difference.

i don't play the game as much as most people here. my 15 hour stretch was once when beating it the first time. on average i play like 2-3 hours.

I always play it on 3D. I got used to it pretty quickly... After my first playthrough I though I couldn't tell the difference between 2D and 3D. However, since then I decided to play for a while on 2D, and after about an hour or so, I realised it was FLAT. Its just looks flat. 3D is so much better!

I sometimes turn 3D off when playing while in in bed at an awkward angle or something, but it does look worse, and I turn it back on as soon as I can.

I prefer 2d for most games/areas. 3D is more for if I need to be able to see the depth, or if I want to get some extra depth in cutscenes.

But I typically prefer it to be 2d. Games aren't supposed to look nice, they're supposed to be beaten quickly.
