I was told that if you dupe over gibdo, the kids in the moon will not accept it. If not, this route doesn't make sens. Unlike the original, the mask count from the file screen will decrease if a bottle is duped over one.

If you don't give Anju the pendant, she doesn't she up on day 3, and if you don't meet with Kafei then yoy can't get the Pendant, and you can't meet with Kafei unless you send him the letter from the midnight meeting. So yes, yoy need to do the whole quest for the couple's mask.

I seriously doubt Deku Sword could be any faster than FD mask since FD pwns with absolutely not effort.
