Title: The WindWaker Reborn (Wii U)
Post by: Moon on January 25, 2013, 05:43:42 PM
Nobody did post it so i think i will just do it:
The legend of zelda The WindWaker is comming to the Wii U. The Reason for this is:

Eiji Aonuma: "The reason I wanted to show you these pictures today is because our new Zelda title looks like it is going to take some time to complete, so I wanted to report that while you're waiting for that game to release, we intend to offer you The legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, reborn on Wii U, to play in the meantime."

Nintendo says it contains the follow things:
-Contains a option to play the whole game on the Gamepad.
-MiiVers Features
-Better Graphics
-Release somewhere in  Fall 2013

I'll be so surprised if the game looks like this. It looks like they improved textures, upscaled it, and used a skyward sword-ish graphical effect on it. Looks like a really quick concept demo. The shadows are just completely overdone. The skybox looks like a much improved version of the oldest demo skybox seen, almost skyward sword skybox.

TWW barely even has shadows. This even has shadows for clouds, which aren't in normal TWW.
Interesting things.
1)Obvious actors being added
2)Link not having the Hero's Shield
3)Pirate Ship is moved
4)Pirate Ship at day
5)Water tint seems slightly different

Just wanna say that these don't seem to be ingame, or atleast shouldn't be considered as what the final product is going to look like. Don't get your hopes up.

Glitch expectations:
Superswims patched
Storage remaining, being limited, needing a new method. Most likely using a new feature.
Random crashes possibly fixed.
Some sequence break crashes fixed.
More sequence break prevention added.

The usual for remakes.

WHAT ABOUT A NEW 3DS ZELDA?!

And does anyone else think that this should be MM? Those HD graphics look gorgeous, but I feel that it looks more cartoony than cel-shaded here (example: Link's hair now obscures his eyebrows). I just think that a game with a more realistic art style should be remade in HD.

Fingers crossed for KH3 to show up on Wii U, because if the PlayStation 4 launches with as high a price as the PS3 did... I won't be able to afford it :(

If its just the same game with better graphics with some minor fixes, then there won't be much reason for me to buy the game. There would need to add new twists to the game and put in those two dungeons which they removed from the orginal game.

I doubt many glitches have been patch (considering Nintendo's reputation with patches lol).

It could also mean the appearance of new glitches like bluephantom340 said.

Faster sailing by changing the sail with A and Tingle tuner replaced with Tingle bottle that works with Miiverse. :/

Let's hope the game has some exclusive glitches, or else it is not worth it.

Actually, I'm a big fan of TWW, so seeing it in HD would be perfect.

Look at the bright side. With every new game, there are some glitches to be expected. Some of the older glitches may be patched, but some new, and possibly better, glitches may appear. A perfect example of this is in OoT3D. In OoT3D, they patched ISG, but we found TSC and DJ, which are unique to the remake, so I think some good still came out of the switch. I'm looking forward to playing it. I also look forward for the next Zelda on the Wii U to come out later this year.
