Some Notes....

- The only accessible spots to BiTE after EMS is in South Faron; unfortunately this requires Iron Boots. The other spot is Lakebed Temple.
- Doing BiT at the beginning of the run makes it impossible to get fishing rod, and in turn makes it impossible to get water bombs outside of Lakebed Temple.
- Logitech timed clearing Faron Twilight to be around a minute slower because of Ending Blow and double rupee dive. Rog found a way to make this faster but it's pretty much TAS only (for now).
- Pillar Clip is stupid difficult, but reasonable for Any% with some practice.
- Warping in Twilight in which you haven't opened a portal works with Z Warp but not D-Pad Warp (Midna prompts you)
- The new route I came up with by doing SPR immediately after Clawshot instead of after Midna's Desperate Hour still won't work for console because of the rupee issue (can't get the Orange rupee in SPR because the savewarp deletes the lent bag). Backtracking to it would be slower.

Wait, ordon days 1/2? That means S&S skip isn't required anymore :O

You can't warp the bridge from north faron without beating forest temple. So BiTE is required no matter what =[

Cool find, how would one skip ordon 1 & 2 exactly?

BiT + S&S skip allows for days 1 & 2 to be skipped.

Oops, I knew that haha.  I got a little confused by at first and thought the new trick was somehow able to skip goats, but that happens on a different day.  Thanks for the clarification.

And yea I remember trying to do BITE during Faron Tears in Faron and the game locked up.  Going all the way to Lanayru to BITE seems like it might be out out of the way but I'm not sure.  Is it possible to do BITE somewhere in Hyrule field, maybe somehow getting oob in the Faron loading zone?

That's for the save. The only two possible places after EMS are South Faron after clearing the twilight and Lakebed Temple. Since you have to go to Lakebed eventually, etc.

Getting ooccoo the first time in lakebed doesn't work, since you can't warp back without using him, and you need to save inside lakebed. So after clipping into lakebed and saving, you would start a new file, bite, clear eldin twilight, then warp to faron. After a third twilight escape, you go back to lakebed, grab ooccoo, and do lanayru twilight. After that, the route should be the same.

Mentioned this in the IRC... The BiT spot used for BiTE should not be a factor in whether or not the game crashes. It should be faster to create a duplicate save at some point in the run and reload from there for the BiT. I think our fastest BiT spots should be either to start at the entrance of the "Lost Woods", and backtrack to Faron, or to start off at the Forest Temple and LJA over the entrance (not sure if you can get OoBs from there).

I'm also certain that if you collect Ooccoo from forest but don't set a Jr point, you can use him for LBT as well. However, I believe we still won't be able to keep the Jr point if we return to the dungeon.

As long as we don't return after setting it, that is, right? That should never be an issue if so.

Forest temple would definitely be faster than lost woods. We have to save after getting the boomerang anyway, and it saves a load zone.

That's not gonna be faster. Both running to Ordon bridge and doing BiTE vs savewarping and loading up a file in Forest Temple, then jumping over the loading zone and doing BiTE took about 30 second on console (without factoring in human/wolf transformations each would have to do). Add an additional ten seconds due to having to sit through another save animation, hitting continue, and bringing up the save menu again and that one becomes slower.

So wassup? How is the most recent route? Do we still have to go throgh that Midna illness thing?

The "Midna's Desperate Hour" segment is still unskippable, but we managed to escape Faron during the twilight. Skipping bugs is unfortunately too slow because the only other spot that we can save at that will allow us to BiTE is Lakebed Temple. We can't use Ooccoo to return to it, meaning we'd have to do rupee dive twice to get in.

Updated first post (still incomplete seg'd route).

Is the pillar clip the same one as with zora armor? how is that faster than rupee diving? and why do you do the first king bulbin fight?

The Pillar Clip is different than the one with Zora Armor -- you have to do it on the left side and the clip is extremely difficult. Rupee dive is faster... if you can get a blue rupee that has about ~10% chance of spawning to appear the first time you try digging and manage to get the dive (which has extremely tight timing) before the blue rupee disappears. First King Bulblin fight is done to get to Kakariko Village.

Can you tell me how the route has changed since Paraxade's segmented run? I don't get why you use BiTE to get to kakariko, and is their a video of this pillar clip?

Pillar Clip

BiTE is used to cut out the traveling to King Bublin 1, since doing BiTE puts you right at the King Bublin 1 fight.

But Paraxade never did the first king bublin fight in his run why is it even necessary in the new route?

Because Paraxade's run is outdated and beat Forest Temple, and could therefore warp the bridge and cross it.

It's not actually necessary. It's not even the fastest way. This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6eiFTyfrqA) is. However, when skipping forest temple, it is the only remotely easy way to get to kakariko.
